Heirloom Scholar
Part fashion publication, part reference library, and part private cabinet—an original product built for people who want to understand beautiful things more deeply.
01The problem
Most fashion discovery tools are organized around purchasing. They make it easy to see more, buy faster, and forget quickly. I wanted a product that could support materials research, maker knowledge, memory, personal taste, and a longer relationship with what we own.
02The product
Heirloom Scholar combines editorial storytelling, a structured maker index, saved searches, personal collections, and carefully labelled research. Its rooms and recurring visual language make a large information system feel intimate rather than institutional.
03My role
Product strategy, research, information architecture, UX direction, visual identity, technical architecture, data modelling, iterative development, testing, editorial systems, and implementation.
04The result so far
A working product with multiple editorial and research pathways, account-aware features, persistent collections, and a distinct point of view. It remains in active development as features and editorial concepts evolve through hands-on testing.
